Cal Ripken Major - 11/12 Year Old Program
KLMBGC offers player-pitch teams for kids between the ages of 11 and 12 and participates in the PG County Boys and Girls Club (PGCBGC) league, under the Babe Ruth Organization. This age group, known as the Cal Ripken Major League, has 70 feet diamond dimension, or distance between bases; and a 50 feet plate to mound distance.
At this level, base runners are free to take leads as they see fit, and balks may be called after warnings are issued.
